I'm having a problem with my 95 cavalier 2.2, it has been converted to obo2 and everything is fine, but sometimes when i start up the car, the red Theft System light comes on and stays on. if i turn off the car and restart a few times, it goes away. The cd player works fine. Does anyone know what could be causeing it to come on every once in a while? and how can i dissconect it?

P.S. The is no Alarm or remote starter on the car. And the CD player im using is from my 99 cavalier, when i installed it, it worked right away and DIDN'T ask for a 4 digit pin code

if you wanna kill it it has to have the passlock 1 or passlock 2 system. but i believe you have the vats. im not sure

Im not sure what system i have, the car is 95, but the car was stripped when i bought it so the whole car has a obo2 system and wiring harness from obo2, even the chip thats on the ingnition is from a obo2 car.
Is there anyway i can disable the light????
