splicing driving lights into headlights

Ok I want to splice my aftermarket driving lights into the headlights. I want the driving lights to be on when I turn the lights on, not the daytime lights. There are 3 wires, I forget the colours, its cold and dark out so im not gonna check them now.

But if they are the same in all 00-02s which colour wire to I splice into? Thanks.

Make sure you use a relay.

Sorry, can't help on the colors

i know the brown wire in the headlights loom is parking lights + headlights

so if u want the fogs / driving lights to come on with the parking lights and headlights then use that one with the relay

if u want i can dig up my old post

Orange is constant hot. I wanna say pink is hot for high beams, blue is hot for low beams. It's a switched ground system.

Ok. If I use the wrong wire I can connect the wires back with no problems right? Should I use a relay? and how do I conenct to the relay. Do I connect as if i was splicing into a wire onto the relay, then run it to the headlights?

a relay has four prongs on it

hit post too fast.. need edit button

one of them is the ground, one is constant 12+, one is the switch wire (headlights wire) and one is the power to your unit (fogs / driving lights)

Ok so thats the diagram?

My relay has 5 prongs and its 12v, and I was told to use driving lights 87, the ground 86, the headlights 85, then 12v into 30.

Or do I use driving lights 30, ground 85, headlights 86 and 12v into 87?

Here's another diagram... instead of running a wire from the fuse block, run a fused wire from either the parking light positive (use a test light to determine which is park... don't want to run it from the turn signal ) or the low beam positive.

Ok I will use the brown wire from the corner like you.

I broke my clip on my corner lense on the drivers side, its being held with tape right now. lol, so far a whole week and it hasnt moved at all.
