A couple of quick questions. 1) Is it the factory speakers or head unit that sound like junk? 2)Does anyone have a newer factory unit they would like to get rid of?

Why not just put in an aftermarket deck?
And its the whole stock system, the HU and speakers that sound like junk.
actually in my opinion delco systems actually sound decent compared to some of the other stuff that comes stock in cars. I have a Kenwood deck (mp3) and i can turn it almost to max without any distortion. (even on my grand prix) Also the monsoon system is one of the best sounding stock systems around!
In think I will do the aftermarket thing. Who needs door chimes anyway!!!!!
