I have a 2002 Cavalier Z24 Sedan with a factory alarm/remote door locks. When I lock my doors with the remote, my headlights blink once, and if I hit the "Lock" button twice, my horn will sound once. When I unlock my doors, the headlights blink twice. This obviously makes the lights blinking pretty useless if the car is facing away from you. It says in the owner's manual that "Your dealer can change the settings to disable the headlamp flash and horn chirp features. Your dealer can also change the settings to allow the horn to chirp twice on the first press of the UNLOCK button.". I was wondering if a). any other lights (such as the taillights/parking lights) could be set to blink and b). if anyone could tell me how it is done.
