is there anything else I'm gonna need other then the wiring kit and sub box?
Go with 2 dual 2 ohm subs, you can run it series/parallel for a 2 ohm load.

Agreed. As it is they're going to need to be wired for 8 ohms to present a 4 ohm load to the amp and they're not going to get near the power they really need. Wiring them in parallel will present something like .5 ohms and you're amp won't like it one bit. Wired properly they'll get about 350 watts which I believe is within spec but 500 watts is SOOOO much better and they'll take it all day long and keep on smiling.
Good choice.

I give up...

and still be fine? I'm a lil confused about the ohms and stuff, read over the sticky, but i'm still pretty confused.
Get the MRD-1005 and two dual 2 ohm subs. Then thank me later.
alright, thanx for all the help. Just one last question, am I gonna need Capacitors or do anything to the ar electrical system with adding the amp and sub?
I'd recommend 4ga power cable, an Optima battery, and possibly a 1-farad cap, especially if you're planning on having a second amp for the mids at some point, but run 4ga power cable at the bare minimum.
