Remote Start Bypass

i just bought my 791xv viper alarm on ebay. i went to circuit city and they told me that i needed a bypass for the remote start and its going to cost me $80. Does anyone know where i can get this bypass for my 04 cavalier? i found this website but i dont know if this is what i need.

i found this but it says its only good for 95-02 cavaliers.

96-02 cavaliers only??

If you're refering to cutting the passlock resistance wire, then you're disabling the factory anti-theft system, making the car even easier than it already is to steal. Kinda defeats the purpose of putting an alarm on.

I had a buddy whose car was stolen because the Passlock system was defeated. His insurance company refused to cover the car.... all because he didn't want to spend $30 on the proper module.

i have a bypass module that i would sell you for 20 bucks plus shipping. works fine. just never needed to use it. cost me 60. hit me up if you want it.
