I've currently got one amp running off a 10 gauge Tsunami power from the battery. Can two small amps, (Kenwood 6201and Verge VGA 285) I think 55 amps in total fuses be run off a 10 gauge power wire from the battery? I've got a 60 amp in line glass fuse. I was told yes by a shop, but I've been reading on here, and opinions seem a little different. If not, what gauge should I use, and could I still use the ten gauge from the distribution block? Barf Buy and Circuit Sh!tty only sell the kits, and all I may need is a new power wire. Could someone point me in the right direction ? Thanks.

Thanks guys. I just bought 4 gauge from my local shop. $1.00 a foot. I can't wait to wire this stuff up. Now if only my freakin' EQ would power up!

some people told me to go 0 gauge and some said 4 ga was fine because it was already bigger than any wire in the car. so i just used 4 ga when i put a yellow top in the trunk and it starts and runs much better than before. i dunno.
what are other people's thought?
my illustration of thought. if i need a cup of water and try to pour it through a straw it will be restricted, but if i pour it through a 1 inch tube it flows freely. if you pour it through a 2 inch tube it will flow at the same rate as the one inch tube. get what i think? now i mean if i was using like gallons of water that would be different.
i hope i didn't lose anyone on what i meant. not trying to fight just get some thoughts. :o)

Yeah basically. i think in a round about way i think i was trying to say why use more than you really need too. 0 ga stuff is so thick and was way more work to run than i wanted to get into.

i get my 1/0 from a local welding shop. It is usually a little less then a $1 a foot.
