I was wondering if anyone had anything else other than 6x9's on the rear deck. Does anyone run components there or what? If you got pics of your custom rear deck setup please post some.. I need ideas for when i completely redo my setup . thanks

dirty window. sorry about that. but those are my kicker ssmb8's. just rewrapped the rear deck (poorly though) and then just cut the holes for the speakers and cut the metal out of the rear deck more and they fit and sound great. look much much better in real life.

Sean - Did you just get the mids and not the highs? Im lookin at the kicker website and i see that the ones you got (if im not mistaken) are just mids. and the ss30's are tweeters. I was thinkin on doing mids in the metal plate (so they dont show) and mount the tweeters there too.
Oh yeah.. i think i got the custom fly and bee setup too. They really pick up the ladies haha

heres my custom rear deck set up....

absolutley nothing.

when i put my sub in a pulled the rear deck off and pulled my rear seakers right out. they are sitting in my garage right now.

too many sources = bad imaging (99% of the time)

im sitting in the front of the car, so why do i need anything more than my 2 front and my sub?

Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!

those are the 8 inch mids. they produce the perfect amount of bass for me though. i love them. worth every penny . i have them running from the sub out from the head deck so no real high mids or highs at all. i keep them at about 100hz - 120hz depending on the CD.

i dont run anything in the rear deck, try to keep as much sound as i can upfront. and if i ever did run rears i'd just run mids, no tweeters,
