i installed my subwoofers today, and i got a small problem...... when i plays music my bass cuts in and out, like it will go for so long then it will cut out for abit then it will keep going, theres nothing lose i check that. the box i have is a sealed box.... could that be the problem? do i need to vent the box? any help will be great thanks!!
You don't NEED to vent the box, it is not your problem...Is your amp staying on all the time? Check the LED that is on the amp while playing music and if it turns on and off there is either a REM problem or else your battery to amp is coming loose somewhere or shorting out (you have an inline fuse though, right?) ... or it could be a bad ground.... if it's not any of those, I don't have a clue, unless its an internal problem with the deck you're running, which i doubt.

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.
LOL
if the amp is only 4 ohm stable and u wire it below that. it could cause the problems described.

i got 2 12 inch kicker cvrs and a 600.1mono amp... the light does come off when the bass gets really loud... so i hope that helps! gold digger is loud........... lol
check your connection at the tinsel leads on your subs. that could be shorting when the bass hits hard. tape em up or heat shrink em.
Sounds like you are overloading the amp. Back off on the gain/s or turn the bass down some.
you snooze you lose!
keep working, millions on welfare depend on you!
