this is most likely a repeat post and i apologize but sometimes people find new sites or sources to get things so i figured id ask. I am lo0king for a high amp alternator for my 99 sunfire 2.4l,i can get a 160a throuhg my work but id like atleast a 200a or more. I am running to optima red tops and 2 12farad caps but i have 2 sub amps pushing over 2,000rms,2 amps for midrange pushing 630watts rms and about 10monitors and a ton of led's and light accessories so i figure ill take the highest amp alternator i can get,money really doesnt matter id just like to find maybe around a 220a? if any1 knows of anything id really appreciate it.Thanks guys keep it loud
this is the one disadvantage of a 2.4 over the 2.2. In the 2.2 you can fit 300 ampers. In the 2.4 you are limited to I want to say 220 anyways

If you e-mail me, I can try to get you a high-output alternator. But, I would need the old one so you would be out of a car for alittle while, but the company I go to school does this in the original casings.
