is this set up mainly for show? cuz i realy err away from a complete brand matched system for sound.. but if your talking running 2 12 inch type r's and a set of type r comps and we can not steer you away from that, (its not bad dont get me wrong, theyre all nice pieces of equipment, but type-r comps can be matched or beat in the price-to-sound ratio), then thats cool, are u looking for alpine amps or other brands accepted here? also.. a price range? if ur looking for the cleanest power and most reliability with the lowest price u can get, i would look into cadence or anything by DEI, but here are some more specific recomendations....

If it MUST be Alpine:
Subs: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14926 (only if your Type-R's are dual 2 ohm coil, to get the most out of that amp)

Components: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14929
This amp would give u room, i mean, 75 watts per channel should suffice fine for a set of R comps, but you also get those other 2 channels to play with if u ever do more with ur system in the future

Now, if you don't mind going with other brands....
Good amps to run your subs off:

that amps best power is at 1ohm, so dual 4 ohm subs would be best, although it would power at 2 ohms just fine too.

heres another nice 1ohm powerhouse from orion

i love PG's Xenon amps

good amps for your comps:

cant realy go wrong with PG Xenon amps, and this would power those R's perfectly!

nice orion

although this one might suit better, little more head room at a great price

soundstream is another great amp company to consider

more DEI products immagine that..

What he said.
I will also be doing the same thing.
For the subs, you can also go with 2 MRD-M605's
