Hey guys and girls. I'm in the process of finishing up an engine swap, and I need some help on the starter wiring. I had the car running, but every 4 or so start-ups, the starter solenoid would lock itself in, so the starter would keep turning the flywheel. Well, I took it out, and there was a bit of shaft play and some solenoid damage, so I got a new one, but I was also wondering if maybe the wiring had anything to do with it. I know one terminal has 3 wires running to it: Battery, Alternator, and a fuseable link. The other terminal currently has two wires running to it. All I know of them is one is red and the other is a different color. I didn't know if maybe there should only be 4 wires total and the other is a ground or if it was just a bad starter. Any help is appreciated, thanks!!!
