My newest creation...My mini-wall

Subs should be here by Wednesday. This is going in my S-10.

New among the old...lol

round your corners!!!

Almost equal distances to the port...close enough for me..

Spray on bedliner for now.....not sure how I really want it too look. I just hate having a wood looking box sitting in my truck.

I'll post pics and vids when the subs get here.

Yeah...not really a wall...more like a 1/2 mini wall...lol. It's only 8" deep.....so yeah...you'd lose a few clicks in a reg. cab 3.5 cubes @ 33hz. 42 sq.in. of port. I cant wait to hear it.

yup....I'll be working on that on saturday

Just did some quick coats to see what it would look like. I like it. Gotta finish my amp rack and some trim pieces then I'll smooth everything out and respray it....along with the other parts.

The bedliner makes it look like the old concert speakers from the 80s/90s, classic, I like it.

I just like it cause it makes it really hard to see the box through tinted windows. The subs are also black without any logos on them

Got the subs yesterday...little bastards are pretty loud for what they are...I think I can pull a solid 144-145

I'll get some sub porn as soon as Shon @ ROE does his thing.

Amp cover is temporary until I have more time to figure something out. It has fans on the other end of it...holes are for airflow. Just needed something to bolt down over the amps to deter thievs from the amps.

I'm also just gonna cover the box in carpet...this bedliner crap scratches WAY to easy.

Here it is before the subs were installed..

Ahhh... I thought you have a single cab S-10. Makes sense now.

One of my buddies has a 91 GMC Sonoma 4x4 extended cab. Alpine CD head. Four Alpine amps. Custom door pods that each had two 6" mids, one 4", and two tweeters. Brands like Vifa, Peerless, and/or Dynaudio. Two Kicker 12" round Solobarics. He removed the drop down seats on the back, and leaned the boxes back into the space. A piece of MDF across the back of the cab held two of the larger Alpine amps. A piece of MDF acorss the bottom of the cab between the sub boxes held two smaller Alpine amps, PPI crossover, Audiocontrol Epicenter, and a NAPA gel battery. A nice 1800 watts, with 300 to each door, and 600 to each sub. Not a show winner, but was just put together with plans to redesign later.

Sub flex porn...

Mic on my digi camera sucks so...that is a 33 hz tone.....he didnt put the 20-22hz tones in the video...why? I dont know but they do over quite a bit a 20 hz . Mic was outside of the truck in the video cause it distorts horribly inside the truck. On to the video

throw some poly fil in there and really listen to it then...

but meaning you have a port go to wal mart and buy some that is like a padding piece and hot glue it to the side of your boxes... it makes a hell of a difference...

Not bad for $50 subs though. Last I checked RE8's are now $109ea. The assasins are around the same price but I think the .B.'s have better lows. You'd really have to hear a TB to believe it.

Why would I want polyfill or padding...lol?????? This box is made to the EXACT specs that I wanted.

Drake, start questioning your box building skills, cuz polyfill is used to basicaly "trick" the subs into thinking there is more volume than there is... if the box is built exactly to specs, it will actualy HURT more than help, or do nothing at all....

Lash: yeah i suppose for the price, the tb's would have assasins or REs beat, i would love to check ur truck out with them bad boys in there! where u live? probly far away, but anyway... one project i have been pondering for a long while is putting a ton of 6W0's in a car in a cool configuration, each in their own sealed chamber... i just wanna find someone with enough cash to play with cool lil things that others havent done... i cant afford any playthings right now, and i realy think if someone would let me do it, i would go all out doing something like that!! anyone in the new england area interested in a set up many people wont have and that will be a nice bassy tight ass set up?!?! come on... someone buy 8 or 10 of those things and let me play lol
