short story.....have an amp that only comes on when i switch to the radio side of the player. when i switch to cd on the player the amp stops working. i have two different models of the same cd player and have tried them both with no luck. being that the remote wire is the only wire that goes to the amp; i would think that that would be the problem....but it works on the radio side...any clues??



Nope, it ain't stock.

You have the remote lead hooked to the power antenna output on the radio. There should be a solid blue wire and a blue wire with a white stripe, you want the one with the white stripe.

or you could just tap in to the red wire on your head unit. it will do the same thing as the Blue/White

except if u turn off ur deck manually the amp will still be on...

thers nothing wrong with that as long as the car is still on. but why turn your cd player off and still have the acc. on. thers no point
