well you can get about 30-33 inches wide and tall. and about 20 deep or so. that's only about 12-13 feet before port and sub.

may be so...but i'm talking about fitting one without making it have 13 sides on it, lol. a square box can only be so big in our cars.

Are you going to give Mark the money for all those subs?

Mark, let me look for my notes on my boxes. Don't have the boxes anymore otherwise I'd just measure for you.

Going for the wow factor? Gay.

You could atleast put all of that in there to compete would be one thing, but putting it all in there just to wow someone, and not even go for quality or anything is just plain a waste of money, and is not cool.

Alot of people don't care much for the wow factor like they used to, function over form is a saying I live by buddy.

im not goin for spl anymore, whats the point i don't have the cash or the time to work 90 hours a week on a box. im goin more for show so people look in the back and say damn look at that and also to have a loud dailey driver.

just to let you know the more sub's the better when it come's to a loud D.D. the less chance your burn a coil.

thanks for your help mike and wysiwyg i don't think ill have the room but ill find something to put in there.

oh yea ling427ttvette i was invited to go to the db drag world finales in 2003 and the usic world finels the past 3 years and i don't have the time for it like i used to. so i kinda know what im doin.

Mark, I've been looking since I made my post and still can't find them. I'm starting to get pissed off at the damn things.

ling427ttvette wrote:Going for the wow factor? Gay.

You think going for the wow factor is merry? I agree. Although I would have used a word like say, cool instead.

Who said he wasn't going for quality? I love how you are putting words in his mouth.

They don't? You must not go to any car shows. Have you seen the Alpine demo cars lately? If that's not going for the wow factor, I don't know what is.
As for your saying, who cares what you live by.

Lash, you know you were. I don't know who that Mark guy is either.

I go to plenty of car shows, and I can tell you that most of them don't have "wow factor" stuff. The mods they do to the car are there for more than just to "look cool" or something retarded.

I never put words in his mouth, but I do know that when some one goes for the "wow factor", they don't usually care for quality. I don't care how quality the stuff is that he buys, if it's not in the right enclosure and setup properly, it's not going to be good, and probably sound like @!#$.

I don't understand why people feel the need to paint the interior of thier car neon green with bright yellow accents, or put a huge wing on thier car, or put 20's on it and then try to tuck them. It's just not cool.

Then you must go to some strange car shows.

You said, and I quote, "but putting it all in there just to wow someone, and no even go for quality or anything". Sure sounds like you are putting words in his mouth to me.

What in the world does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

BTW: Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean it's not cool. That Camaro that you drive. I think it's FU(KING UGLY and uncool. Guess you should get rid of it because I don't like it.

PS: Sorry Mark.

I've heard nothing but good things about them. Couldn't tell you from personal experience, but I don't think I've seen a bad thing written about them. You can be our guinea pig, buy them and let us know how they do.

its about 11.5 cubes 12 cubes or so before displacement. You are gonna be pushing it with hte face to fit three 15s. I think you can do it if you do it just right. And still port it. BTW atomic APXs are coming as soon as I can unload the XXXs.

Re: nate how big is your wall?

To make a long story short, was running a car with Atomics a few years ago with a friend. Made it to USACi finals, talked to George and he said he would be there with recones in case we blew a sub. He never showed up, we ended up blowing a sub, obviously had to borrow different subs, and ended up losing some DB's and finished third.

I don't have an issue with Atomic as a company, mostly with George. It's over with, but it was enough for me to not want to run their subs anymore. They still make GREAT stuff and I know some people who run/have run their stuff and haven't had any issues.

I'm with you on this. It seems that ever since they killed the Versus forum, more and more jack@sses started posting here. The A&E forum is the only forum I even bother reading on j-body anymore, and now it too seems to be going to hell in a handbasket. ROE seems to be the only audio site that I frequent which hasn't fallen to sh!t with personal attacks and retard statements. Some SPL guys I know here in Calgary started their own website (Zero Hurtz) because they were experiencing the same crap on canadiancaraudio.com (which was basically the SD of the north). I'm hoping that we can keep it alive, because guys like me are running out of options when it comes to sharing ideas and learning new stuff without getting attitude and attacked by idiots.

*rant over*

Powerbass - quite a few guys here run the 3000 amps and absolutely love them. Tons of reliable power for dirt cheap. If I wasn't already running American Bass, I'd seriously consider running their gear.

The 50-50-90 rule: Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.

It's why I disappear from this forum everynow and then. The idiots get to me and I go crazy. Then they let me out of the mental hospital and allow me internet access again.
