Im installing power mirrors from a 99 Cav into my 2005 Cav. I have all the hardware I need (mirrors, wires, heat shrink, solder, all the other crap). My question is, does anyone have a wiring diagram for the mirrors or know what wire if for what?

If it helps at all, here is the wire colors.

Going to Drivers mirror:
• Pale Yellow
• Pale Pink
• Pale Green

Going to pass mirror/power (from the controls):
• Brown with white stripe
• Red with white stripe
• Solid black
• Solid orange
• Pale blue with white stripe

Plug in pass door going to pass mirror:
• Brown with white stripe
• Red with white stripe
• Pale blue with white stripe


Common sense would tell me to match the colors from the control box to the pass mirror, but I want to make sure. Thanks for any help.

I misses some wires... Here is correct wires

Going to pass mirror/power (from the controls):
• Brown with white stripe
• Red with white stripe
• Solid black
• Solid orange
• Pale blue with white stripe
• Solid Purpleish/gray
• Solid light brown

Well coming off the switch from earlier years which is still pretty compatible.

Terminal A- Lt Green - Motor Common LH mirror
Terminal B- White - Up/Down Motor LH mirror
Terminal C- Yellow - L/R Motor LH mirror

Org - Continuous Power

Blk - Grnd

Lt Blue/wht - RH mirror motor common (Term A on OEM Mirror) (Terminal E in OEM switch 5 wire harness)
Brn/White - RH mirror u/d motor (Term C on OEM Mirror) (Terminal B in OEM switch 5 wire harness)
Red/White RH mirror l/r Motor (Term B on OEM Mirror) (Terminal C in OEM switch 5 wire harness)

This looks to correspond, but please use a multimeter or test light when checking this before formally applying power.
