when the remote turn on of your amp doesnt seem to be working all the time? i have 3 amps, all using a remote turn on from a pioneer deck. one of the subs amps recently stopped turning on, and when it doesnt turn on, the other sub amp refuses to turn off regardless if the deck is powered on or not. when the problem amp is disconnected from the remote turn on wire, the other sub amp performs with no problems and turns on and off as it is supposed to.
now for the hill billy part. when i give the amp the doesnt work properly a tap on the case, it powers on and off correctly and works fine for a day or two....what does all this mean??? bad remote reciever on the amp? can it be fixed? is it worth fixing on a cheap amp?
i think i have it narrowed down to the one amp getting a insufficient chassis ground, so it wouldnt power on, in turn screwing up the remote signal and somehow keeping the other amp on....wieeeerrrrdddd...
i think if you try hook up too many amps to the REM signal, it gets too weak and the amps wont turn on due to insufficient voltage or something like that...

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.
LOL

What he said. Use a relay for more then two amps is what I would do.

Ban low-performance cars, not high-performance ones.
above is correct^^^.... you figure the remote turn on is 3v and i dunno how many amps but i used to fiddle with electronics stuff and if your using say 3v for one item that has .03 amps draw as u go up the other amplifiers will draw amps that arent there making it harder for them to turn on....i recommend putting those amps to some switches its safer and doesnt depend so much on the headunit to do so...

Your RCA's should be 3v output, your Remote is 12v, and .059 amps for most head units.
