will a alpine MRD-M501 mono amp power 2-12" kicker cvr's, and still have everything skaking?
the subs are dual 2ohms
It should pound pretty hard. The amp is 550 watts RMS in 2 ohms so if you wire each sub's VC's together in series, the wire both subs together in parallel to the amp, it should see a 2 ohm load. Here's a diagram. Don't be jealous of my awesome MS Paint skills

i just installed the same amp in my buddies car a few days ago. its running a dual4 ohm 15 type R and it bumps pretty good. with the more cone area of the 12s, it'll be a really decent set up. also, i've never done the digital set up before that amp, i fell in love with the options it provides.
