I have the opportunity to buy a demo unit Pioneer AVIC-N2 for $720, I looked on ebay and they're all going for $1000. I know it retailed for like $2000 then dropped to like $1400. Any cons to this unit I should know about? I think for the price I'm going to pick it up as my headunit is getting old. Thanks for any info!
Anyone have any info on this? Like whether or not it can be wired to play DVD's while driving. I heard from someone that the Pioneer's with navigation wont let you?
Yeah thats a pretty good deal if its got a warranty. Also yeah there is a way to bypass the software but you have to find someone who knows how. And im sure it will void yur warranty cuz like you said it uses the navi to tell if your in motion instead of the parking brake.

2) no the it does not use Navigation to tell if your in motion instead of the parking brake. all indash uses parking brake. the Navigation is an extra $329.95
I would never invest to much into used gear.. (IF it is used)
