okay my ipod has been skipping and pauses every once in a while and the battery dies in about an hour, could anyone help me or tell me where to fix it. also the screen isnt as bright as it used to be. please help
How long have you had it? I know my brother got a nano, and a few months later something about his screen wasn't showing up and the menus weren't working right. We took it to an Apple store, and they looked up his receipt on their computers and gave him a brand new nano no questions asked. So you might check that out...
new ipod for you
If its a hd based one and it's skipping you have BIG problems.
Just buy a new one or get it replaced under warranty if you have one on it

if its HD based and it's skipping, chances are the platters were scratched from being bumped around too much. I prefer flash MP3 players. Nothing to destroy simply by shaking it around, it's 100% solid (except the buttons of course). Harddrives were never meant to be mobile. People SAY laptops can take alot of abuse... in reality, you gotta replace the HD every couple months if its roughed up alot. I brought up laptops because they also use spinning harddrives, and are meant to be mobile.
my "freezes" on me... i'll be changing songs and it just freezes... basically have to wait till it dies and then recharge it. it wont shut off or anything! the bad part is i got it off ebay...
yea when my buddy bought his nano the guy explained that its cheaper to just give them a new 1 then for them to rip it apart and fix whatever is wrong
