I've done a bunch of cavalier stereo swaps. Mostly 2000 and up. Is a 2004 sunfire dash fairly similar? I mean in terms of screw and clip locations. Anything major thats different that anyone knows to make the job quicker would be appreciated.
Do I need to take off the top Dash pad as I did for the Cavaliers, so that I can remove the dash part for the stereo?
Um, cavalier and sunfire dashes are quite a bit different.
On the cavaliers you have to take off that front piece that goes around the cluster and everything and yada yada yada.
Sunfire is simple. Open the glovebox. There on the left side you will see I think 2 philips head screws. Undo those and then the front little panel will pull out to the left. There are 2 little pins that go into holes on the left side of the panel, thats why you have to pull left. And, it makes it easier to have the car in drive or neutral when pullin the piece off.
Ask if you need anymore help.

Just the info I needed. Just haven't had a good look at it yet. Appreciate it, thanks.
