what does every one think of kenwood decks
i think it is a KDC-x990 on sale for $399

i have never had a kenwood

any info would help

There's better...Try Eclipse or Alpine or Pioneer, that seems to be what everyone seems to be happy with

High-end Kenwood was (at least a year or two ago) right up there with the better alpine and pioneer decks.

Unless something has happened in the last year or two, that deck seems alright for the money.

i like my kenwood, haven't had any problems with it, but i forgot the model number

i have been a pioneer fan i was just thinking what kenwood is like

i am really thinking about buying the pioneer 6800 model

its on sale at bestbuy

i got kenwood excelon subs and amps...but i went for a pioneer deck......

only touch the Excelon stuff, and it tends to be quite fragile.

I have had Kenwood decks and speakers. I had a am/fm cassette player in the late 80's that shook my rear view mirror,no kidding! Make sure it's not a noise maker (distorts easily) pay 4 the good one , and I bet u won't go wrong. I was told a couple of years ago by my audio guy, that some of the overseas models just make noise not music, so try it out if u can be4 u buy! JUst my advise, but I'm usually right!!!!!!
