well i just got back from drop jaw's big show and i got second place in the 1-2 woofer class......142.9 at 55hz......that was my second run....had one left when my clutch went boom and i didnt get to do my third run.......1st place was a 143.6.....this is all on an audio control mic
did you try burping at 47 -49 hertz? that seems to be where our cars like. Good score though. Adn how did they group everyone. I know its 1-2 woofers and 3-4 woofers. I have 2 woofers but i have a wall. did they put the wall cars in with the trunkers and stuff like that? Im gonna be going to one of their shows in the fall and want to see what they are going to do.
they just go by woofers....not the setup........i just wish i could have had my 3rd run..........next dropjaw show im goin to is freakshow in october....that is where they are gonna hold their new spl league finals at.....im redoing my complete setup to hopefully get close to 150

congrats buda, i wish i could of made it there. what are you doing for your new setup? i like to see someone else right up there where i am. I just got a SHP and going to put another 500 to it so i should be up around 152 now

it was around 20-25 in the 1-2 woofer class....dave im building a new box.....putting 1500watts on my speakers, another yellow top, 0 gauge wire, and lots of sound dampening/deadener...then im gonna work on the mids and highs.......4 6.5's in the rear deck and a 5.25 in each door

eazy most of the guys at these shows run aduioblah due to it being more carshow oriented. plus the one note wonder guys dont come out for this event so the scores are for your everyday car. 143 able to do it musically is pretty loud. do you know if it was the AC180 or the 190 mic buda. the 180 can be tweaked to read lower if it hasnt been calibrated recently and the 190 is very stiff. within a db of the Termlab supposedly. some even say dead nuts on with it. I think it would be the 190 due to his score. thats a good score for his gear and thumps pretty good for a daily driver.

I was kinda hoping of for the 180. I could prolly do a 60 and change on that after one burp. Also where was mic placement. on the pass side dash or could you put it anywhere.
