so in the past couple weeks i've noticed my drivers side rear turn signal has been on the fritz. the first time it went out i thougt it was the bulb so i changed it and no problem...but since then its been going on and off randomly. like it will work for a week then it wouldnt for like a day..etc. but now it just completely doesnt work. im guessing then theres a problem in the wiring. whats next? is there somewhere specific i should look? i dont want to start ripping things apart if i dont know exactly where i should be looking. and help is appreciated
thanks

did you put bulb grease on it? i know my pass rear turn signal acts up like that from time to time. the bulb is good. i went to Autozone, got bulb grease and put it on. works fine
bulb grease?

yea. BULB GREASE. its a 99c pak that you can get at Peop Boys or Autozone. it keeps the connection good. i know my socket was melting the plastic of the bulb and i bought it, put some on, and it works fine.
Yes, he's not pulling your chain like the dicks that say "headlamp fluid" or some crazy @!#$ like that. BULB GREASE it is real and does exist. Don't believe me? Undo one of your bulb wires take the bulb out and look inside the socket. Mine is a yellowish color.

It's a electrical conduit used to keep a good connection.
interesting...NEVER heard that before lol well i guess i'll try it out. i already pulled the socket apart and now that i think back on it...i didnt see anything in there so maybe this actually is the problem lol i think i'll test it with a multi-meter first (if i can find one)lol

UPDATE: so i went out and got some...greased it up and...still nothin.
so im guessing its somewhere in the wiring. but i still dont know what this recall is all about, could someone please inform me? my other question is, could it be something with the actual turn signal lever? cuz i remember a couple times when i really slammed on it and it worked. thanks for any info on this
