ok i have a question...i am gonna put a dvd flip out 7" screen in my car...i noticed the shifter is pretty tall...will that affect the DVD screen going in and out?? if so what do i do??

what year is your car? I assume that its a 95-99 since your conserned about the shiftknob and the screen coming out. Well my screen does clear, but the shifter has to be pulled into atleast 3 to make it all the way out (i have auto tranny) I am moving the screen up to correct this. 00-05 will work no problem, cant vouch for gen 1 or 2...

You can cut the shifter to make it shorter, just make sure the height difference between the inner and outeer peices stays the same.
