well i think im going to be getting a new battery soon.I dont have a system in my car but i want an optima battery for a couple of reasons.First ive heard that optimas are lighter than stock batteries is this true? if so which is lighter the yellow top or the red top? and lastly what is better for everyday driving the red or yellow? the car rarely goes a day without being driven. thanks for your help

Red top is better for your use. As for being lighter, maybe, i replaced my battery more then 2 years ago, so i cant remember.

And the red tops and yellow tops weigh the same.
