I LOVE my passport escort 8500 x50. Upgraded from a cobra. But it was like $280 as opposed to $120 on my cobra.

I agree, speed limits are set for a reason...but I guess there's always going to be idiots who figure they gotta rip @!#$ to save a couple minutes...

sorry for stealing hte thread.....but speed limits seem to be inforced for a really good reason....the city needs more funds because they usually seem to over budget the money they have so if they can't get it from you in a good way...tehy will just take it from you with threats of jail time. it's easier that way anyhow...
I have a cobra.... its the XRS-9400 and let me tell you for the cost... of like 100 bucks its well worth it. This thing has never let me down. Even when i got pulled over.... the thing went off a mile away from the cop (total bs tho, the cop missd the guy next to me going faster) but i also know that this is "best" type radar you need. A cop actually sold me mine lol and for this being 11 band its all you need. The cop expalined a lot but basiclly said it was the perfect one. SO YES GET A COBRA THEY WORK GREAT!
