NEED HEADUNIT HELP ASAP!
Tuesday, June 20, 2006 1:05 PM
Alright guys and gals this is my prob a while back i noticed my headunit decided to come on or go off (as the car was running) when it wanted to I thought it was just that my headunit was malfunctioning so i decided to put my factory unit back in place. Well that did nothing this radio still comes on and goes off when it wants to. I checked all of the wiring behind the dash and the fuse panel in the car. Nothing I can see is wrong. It started awhile after i had my underbody lights put on but i didn't think that was the problem. Can anybody shed some light on this Problem?

I havent installed anything new nor has any shop to my knowledge but a long time ago, I did have my system rather rigid by using butt-clips to give my amp signal. I stopped using this method once i got a headunit. Could this bee the problem after so long?

Ditto^^^^

Did you use a wiring harness, or did you cut it off and wire the cd player straight to the car?
