ummm no....
you mount where it sounds best to you... i had mine low, moved em up high, i like where they are now (just forward of door handles)..
do this... wire everything up, mount ur woofers, then get some 2 sided tape on the back of the tweeter mount, move them around till u like the sound...
me personaly, with a nice 1 inch soft dome tweeter up higher, using the adjustment on my crossovers to dictate the tweeters a bit... plus or minus 3db or 0,... yours might not have this, but mouting the tweeters a lil higher actualy brough my sound stage up to a much more desireable height than before when they were low by the woofer...its all personal taste, but higher frequencies that the tweets play are more directionaly noticed, so the tweeters mounting position will greatly affect sound stage placement...and i dont like my leg baffling them!!
On the other hand....you have other fingers.
I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn

Just do what he said with the tape, moving the tweeters around with the woofer already mounted, and see where it sounds best to you
