Tuning Components for the first time

I have a set of components going in this week or next week and i was wondering if ne one could help me with what do i have to do to tune them?

what do i have to do on the amp? Is it just adjust the gain and freq?

Well basically i think you just have to set the HPF because i dont think u want low frequencies handled by subwoofers to be goin through ur mid-woofer(s) on the components....they should come with crossovers ...im not sure if they're tuneable, ull find out when u get them i suppose, but thats all i can really say

ok, what kind of sub(s) you running with them? what is the box tuned to (if ported), and what comps u got? i will help more i promise, just tell me those things

I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn

1 12" type r at the moment. 39 is that the box is tuned to i believe and i got the cheap ones for the time being cuz i was running low on the cash at the time and my stocks are blown. So i got the powerbase pb-bk5.

set your HPF on the amp to somewhere around 70-80 hz. you need to test to find the best freq. for gain, the easiest way to set properly is to turn your HU to 2/3 of the volume and adjust the gain until you just barely hear some distortion, then turn it down a little bit.

well i wasnt bashin you i was just basically telling him to....i tuned my 1st sub the way you told him to tune his @!#$ and i fried it so im just tellin him for his sake to follow the sticky
