Has anyone else used or heard subs by planet audio?
I have 2 12" planet audio M2s and just curious if anyone else really knows about them or anything, I personally love mine. I hope this isn't too off topic or searchable, I am just curious.
Hi
I've had a planet audio amp... on 2 memphis subs... used to rattle my car to death.. sold the setup.. I still regret selling it =(
From my experience good stuff!

I forget the name***, been a few years since I have heard one but it was a Planet Audio Woofer which looked identical to a stroker, I loved the thing.

those are very good subs ..high quality ..there old line i like little better though better magnets and cone wasnt plastic....but all in all they are great subs very durable
I was just curious because when I bought these I had heard them played before, but then when I came on here or wherever else involving audio, planet audio isn't very frequently talked about so I was just curious.
Mine hit really good with my 2300 watt boss digital amp.

I use a TT4200 and a TT4300 Amp. GREAT output for the price, 300 @ 4ohm x 2. @ my 4200 does 200 @ 4ohm x 2 + they both are 4 channels by nature so a 50x4 and a 75x4. SO versatile I love them. Not extreme power, but more then what I need.

Short - they were the FU series subs.
They were close to a stroker, but only close. They had trouble taking much over their rated power, and just weren't as loud as the real deal. They were still louder than 80% of the subs out there, and they definitely had ugly going for them
Having owned the real deal for years and years, I will ALWAYS recommend spending the extra $$ and getting the one that says 'Cerwin Vega' around the pole
I may be changing up to DD 9515s, but my stroker WILL be going in my second vehicle when I decide to buy it.
Like I've said in several other posts - I've never used Planet subs (I am running a pair of 6.5 PA coaxes at the moment), but their older amps were amazing for the price.

Ya , definately a solid driver from them, The shop I mope around right now has a 18' Stroker (Single 4) in a wall in our little Toyota pickup, off a 2000x with the box literally tuned @ 71hz it hits an easy 147.2+. This is pretty good, not much tuning done, just a quick setup until 2 SX 15's get slapped in.
