Setup help

Ok I've been searching the forums alot for info on good products. I've come down to I want a cheap -> midcost system that bases around SQ not around SPL. If it is SUPER clear and crisp inside/around my car...my dream will be true.

My HU is a Pioneer Premier DEH-P770MP Model In-Dash CD/MP3/WMA/WAV with OEL Display

For the front I'm looking into a set of 6.5" CDT Comp's...just not sure on the model yet.

Rear 6x9's are probally going to be a set of 3 or 5 way speakers...possibly a high end pioneer set.

For woofers I'm looking at 2 12" Elemental Designs, in a ported box...not sure on the make of these.

And I want to put an amp to the speakers/subs...Im just an amp retard since I've never had one personally.

Can anyone recommend a good amp or model numbers for CDT/ED or a good set of coaxials?

Thanks

ditch the 6X9 idea, leave the holes when u remove the stock ones, buy some sound deadener (secondskinaudio.com), deaden at the very least ur doors(covering all access holes possible for better midbass response), and your rear deck.

low to mid cost system? you are somewhat on the right track....
amps... check ikesound.com for directed, orion and viper refurbs (all owned by DEI and are great amps)

components, i would say the CDT 61CL comps would probly be the absolute best bang for the buck comps out there at 140 shipped with free speaker wire off wooferetc.com (authorized CDT dealer)

Subs.. eD is a damn good place to start looking for SQ drivers... mid to low cost and great SQ i would say a pair of 13Kv2's would do the trick.... E-Mail JD at soundsthatpound.com for a custom box built as high of quality as possible at the best price ur gunna get a custom box made for... just dont forget to have it built TO THE SPECS OF THE SUBS U CHOSE! if the box is out of specs then it will sound bad and u will end up blaming the subs lol.. and if its going to be a ported box and u are focused on SQ make sure its tuned at a decent frequency to play the range its built for... for those eD Kv2 subs i say have the port tuned down around 28-32hz

as far as the bare meat and bones that about covers it... then factor in 30-60 bucks for wiring, and misc things needed...

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn

its http://www.edesignaudio.com or http://www.elementaldesigns.com whatever is easier for you.

We also make enclosures, give us the tuning and dimensions, and we can have it to you in a couple days.
