6.5's for my application?

I am installing a

Pioneer Avic-Z1

And a 1000 watt RMS sub
with a JBL GTO1201.1 II

I will also be installing a
JBL GTO75.4 II

I need some help picking speakers though, I was pretty set on JBL c608GTi but there at best 350 a pair and I want to put them in both front and rear deck so I was looking at these too, JBL P650c which are only about 200 each pair....

Any comments on either set would be appreciated.

The sub I'm running is an older version of this; Rockford Fosgate Punch Power DVC

I now have a second Cobalt SS to install in too, anyone have a different company to run Amps/speakers in that car with? I have a Cav with RF subs and amps and Infinity Components (had RF speakers and also had Pioneer speakers, infinity is the best so far), I have a LS Cobalt with Alpine Amp and Infinity components (sounds exceptional), And I'll have my Cobalt SS with JBL Amps and speakers except for RF sub(I hope it sounds great too) So what else do you recomend?

i personally would go the GTI's as a JBL dealer (in can) i can attest to the sound, Tho, they sound 100000X better in pods/enclosures, so doin kick panels up front and doin rear maybe p652's would be the way 2 go! idk tho

1st 1st gen on air.....

The GTO, and GTi series both sound great no matter where you go. I love how tight the woofers are aswell, they nudge in everywhere.

My Cav

I was leading to the GTi's, so i think i will continue with that route. I was planning on makeing enclosures for them in the doors and the rear deck. I guess we will wait for a good side job to come along and then find me a few pairs..

i hope ur planning on going with some amped components, not just replacing coaxials with coaxials... you will be much happier going the component route... what kinda budget for just the speakers are u looking at? what kinda power you throwing at them?

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

go audition some stuff and see what sounds best... but just some recomendations on unbeatable prices on some kick ass comps....

woofersetc.com is an authorized CDT dealer, and they have the CDT CL61 components for $140 with free speaker wire and free shipping, then just get some 3/4 inch MDF and make the mounting ring, good to go.

look for a good price on a 2 channel amp putting out around 100-150 RMS per channel at 4 ohms

ok im out, ill get detailed in posts when im back at work lol
