As was the clarion 32 and audioblah 32 used to create hype. Why do you think the jackhammer has that assretardxed price tag. to sell tons of them? hell no. A ten inch of a speaker is not going to be louder than an 18 of the same speaker cone area and displacement are gonna win out. in fact the only time ive seen it where someone used tens over a bigger woofer was last year in street c. but it was 6 tens against 4 12s. The cone advantage goes to the tens in that instance. im not saying that you cant make tens loud. but if you give the 15s or 18s to an experienced spl competitor and give him the tens. he is gonna be louder in most cases with the bigger woofers. i dont know anyone out of street classes that uses tens either.
