I wasn't sure how to title this... but im having an issue with how the screen video is off the ps2 while trying to play in on my unit...
I have the Pioneer deh-p5700DVD player with a playstation 2 hooked up to it, and a 400 watt power converter powering the PS2. But when its all powered up and ready to play there is horizontal lines that go thru the picture(screen), like intereference or something. It is playable but its just the lines that get me...
I have tried 2 different playstations and converters and it does the same thing... But when i plug the ps2 into the outlet on the house, the lines are gone and the picture is as clear as day. No lines what so ever...
I was wondering what everyone elses opionions are on this, and how everyone else has there ps2 hooked up and everything...

did you buy a cheap invertor?
outer wire of video rca, the metal shielding that's visible on the end, take that soldier a wire to it and ground out end of said other wire!
1st 1st gen on air.....
No, i did not use no cheap power inverter... They were both expesive, one was a 400W and the other was a 800W...
Abby87Z24: I don't get what your saying... How would that help?

Hmm... I dunno man. I used the cig lighter adapter for the slim PS2 hooked to an extra cig lighter I wired in. Seems to work good for me... I'll look around the net and see if I can find anything for ya.
Corsica Dude: Its not that i can't play the ps2... I can. Its just with using the power inverter there are horizontal lines going thru the screen. And i don't know what there from. Cause like i said i hooked it up to the house electrical outlet and they wasn't there. So its something to do with the inverters... And i used 2 different ones...
