I was driving home from work today and my headunit (Pioneer AVH-P7600DVD) decided to suddenly stop working...
It was working fine since it was installed about a month ago, but on my way home tonight my subwoofers and it sounded like my rear speakers quit working. Then about 30 seconds later the headunit shut itself off and I can't get it to turn back on. Usually it just sits dead, but once in a while I can get it to turn on for about 5 seconds by putting the car into ignition, but it shuts itself off before it transmits any audio to the speakers. I checked the fuses and they seem to be ok, and none of the other electrical components of the car appear to be affected, just my audio..
I have a buddy who dabbles in electronics coming by this weekend to take a look at it but i'd like to get some ideas as to what might be wrong with it before he gets here.. anybody have any ideas?

A little while back my ground came loose and everything turned off, pissed me off. So I got out and looked at everything, everything looked good, then I checked the ground and there was the problem. The ground came undone. So I reconnected it and poof, everything came back on.
GIT 'ER DONE!
double check the 12 v switched fuse on the HU.
