I have a set of Infinity 5.25" front component speakers, I have noticed that I am geeting a discreet audible frequency ( a hum if you will) in the tweeters that seems to correspond to the engine RPM's (as one rises or falls so does the other). The noise is not consistent with the volume of the speakers so eventually it drowns out, but is quiet annoying. System is powered with an Infinity 7541 Ampe, with power and ground both terminating at the battery

Anyone know what kind of filter I need to install, and where, to eliminate this problem?

sounds like a alternator whine........try a new ground spot and make sure your rca's and power cable are on opposite sides of the vehicle
