Which kit is recommended for the older G3 cavs? There seems to be quite a few kits available. I'd prefer one that allowes the use of screws to hold in the HU and not the metal cage.
Thanks.

all the kits will require the cage, why do you not like that method?
On the other hand....you have other fingers.
I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn
maybe then its harder to take out so people cant steal it? @!#$ idno...lol...

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.
LOL
With Metra kits the GM multi-kit is ISO mountable but it's kind of a pain. Most of the more model specific kits are only DIN mount. I'm not sure about other kits like Scosche or American International. Just remember if they want it bad enough they'll get it, and probably mess up your dash in the process.

Yep, but I'd like it to take long enough for me to get out there with something sharp or heavy when the 2way goes off.....

just backstrap the deck, it'll take them longer to steal. even if u ISO mount it u can still break the plastic mounting kit off pretty easily.
Well, I bought the Scosche GM1503 and it sucks. The brackets it said to use are totaly wrong. Glad I only paid $10 for this POS.

I think I have that same POS! Flimsy mounting with two screws sound about right?
ISO MOUNT LOOKS SO CLEAN!!! flush mounts the radio into the kit, and uses trim that matches the kit, so no matter what color your face plate is, the trim will match your dahs kit.

Yup, I'm sure once I drop the car the vibrations will end up snapping those ears off. I think I'll hit home depot to try and find some metal brackets to use.
