Well after a lot of questions (no understatement), I finally have some high quality sound. I love the eD subs, they sound so nice. On to the pictures.
Sooo not a lot of trunk space left
backseat will work though.
Wiring is a mess, going to clean it up when I have time, I want to try something different so i'll have to see how it goes.
very clean..I like the set up. I wish I had two subs but mine sounds like 2 so thats ok. Hows it sound?
that port is teh tiny

it's tuned at around 34-37hz, and it sounds amazing. Hits hard and fast, and isn't just noise. My ears are ringing, and my breaths are shorter when its on.
how much port area is that?? and net space in the box?

I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn
awww....look at the cute litttle port.
13 sq. in. of port is waaaaaaaaaaay too small for those subs.

4.83 gross volume
after sub disp. you got 4.65 cubic feet.
go with 65 inches of port area, and make it about 30" long

Glad you are happy with them. Ive been beating up a 19ov2 for the weekend. The Ov2 series are great speakers.
Everyone is right tho, the port is a little on the small side. Should still be pretty loud with it being tuned that high. If you do decide to ever build a new box for it, Give us a call and let us design one for you.

Looks a lot like my setup except I mounted my amp on the back of the box out of the way so the wires are more hidden. And if I want to show off my amp, I just put my back seat down. Plus you get like a itty bitty bit more trunk space then. haha
But it looks real good.

The port cools off the amp though
.
They sound great, ive had them running everytime I get in the car.
the only thing i just realized, that i must have missed when u posted it is the tuning Freq... why so high? i would have shot for around 28-30...

34-37 is fine for music.

^^ Then what would 28-30 be for

some subs do better with the lower tuning, depends on the numbers. others do better with higher tuning.
I would say for your average 12"...tuning less then 37-38 is just gonna hurt your higher end output. Most people just think tuning to 32hz or whatever is fool-proof, but that's not always the case
Have you honestly ever heard a 12" in a box tuned to 28 hz? it's gonna drop off QUICK up around 40-50. which is where most of your bass heavy music is anyway.
i tuned my XXX's in the low 30's simply because they are low end monsters, and they dont have much high end output anyway.

^^ i was just being sarcastic
I have no knowledge in anything audio related lol just felt like posting for no real reason
But that makes sence
the elemental designs web page says to tune it at either 28 or 30hz (can't remember exactly) .... so i would tune it there just because that's what the specs say to do.
eD subs perform well tuned low..thats why i always mention low tuning when talking about their subs wys
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Looks great! It certainly doesn't hurt to ask lots of questions and do your homework before buying a system.
Tune em lower with more port, and you will love them even more.
