My GF wants to goto the drive in movies, but im concerned that its possible my battery may die while watching the two movies they play. If i were to use the volume sensibly would it be a problem, the movie plays on a low FM frequency.. heres some specs to consider...
motomaster 72 battery???? sorry im not sure of the exact model..
Kicker 250.2 amp (for my 6x9's)
MTX thunder tc4002 (bridged for the sub stated below)
Orion 150.2 amp for my front speakers and crossover network/tweeters
MTX MXS 1204 sub.
Will my battery die if not blasting the movie but listening sensibly/how long will it last??? Thanks
Bring a portable Radio and tune into the station off of that
Thats what i do.
ur car can last about 4 hours bt its close.............i keep a jumper pack in my car at all times. run the batt down then jump urslef before u leave
most drive in's have jumper cables/boxes available just for that reason.
Our local one has eletrical outlets so most of us use them for trickle chargers. But yeah you should be fine. Keep the bass turned wayyyyy wayyy down, 1. Its nice to other people. I @!#$ hate it when the ass hole next to me has the bass so loud, its all i can hear. 2. It will help the battery last longer.
Heh.... My neon lights were left on for about 8 hours. Car started right up, I didn't even know I left them on when I was at work.

Thats a little different than a Stereo system
Optima Yellow top with the volume up, 2 12" audiobahs, big audiobahn amp, for 2 hours, during intermission i started the car and let it run to charge the battery and i was fine for 2 movies
