Get the upgrade harness! lol
but really spend the extra $9 to get it it will save you the trouble from your stock wiring getting fried.
i just had to cut out the old wiring and put new in and the socket was melted inside the bulb.
just the 9006 pure white ones i think thats what there called

Mine are fine... got the ultra white 9007's. No melting here.
I had the ultra white bulbs high and low, when I got my projectors though I went out and bought some silverstars cause I knew the luminics would suck in the projector housing, the light range wasnt very good.
