i have available to me for a really good price...this amp...
http://www.cardomain.com/item/JBLBP3001Z
it puts out 300w RMS x1 @ 2ohm..... i have 2 6x9's sitting in my garage waiting for me to cut the holes in the rear decklid bigger...they run at 150RMS @2ohm (yes...highs that run in 2ohm...they are infinity kappa's)...can i just put 2 wires into one terminal...and still have it run at 2 ohm, or some other kind of configuration that will let me split the wattage and maintain the impedance?

i bought that same amp back in 98 or 99 for $99 brand spankin new and it was so good to me, not heavy on the power but never overheated or gave me any issues whatsoever, still have it (on deck) and it still works like the day i bought it
not only will it be mono in the back (it wont matter to anyone but your rear passengers anyway) but you wiring it in parallel (+ to +, - to -) would put the impedance at 1 ohm, which by the sounds of it is too low for your amp. You could wire in series and get a 4 ohm load, less power but it wouldnt hurt the amp. but then you've still got mono.
