Why does my left signal light (in my instrument panal) turns half on when I put my headlights on?
Does it flash normally if you engage the left turn signal? If not... you've got a bulb burnt out.
If so... maybe you've got light leaking from the rest of the cluster... stock cluster? modified? Aftermarket gauges?
Yes it does flash normally when I engage the left turn signal. I've got a stock cluster. Would fixing it mean that I'd have to take the whole cluster out?
Oh yeah..I forgot to tell u that it happened once or twice that the light would go out for a while and come back on later on...
Sounds like a problem elsewhere in the system.... as in a bad connection to a light or something. Doesn't sound like a problem with the cluster itself... more like it's trying to indicate that something is wrong with the signals.
Do you have any kind of aftermarket lighting hooked up to the signal lights? Sidemarkers or modified wiring??
Nope! Nothing at all on the signal lights.....It was kind of rainy this morning so I turned on my lights and the little arrow was on. I just left 5 min to try my new muffler with a silencer in it...lol....and the light was off.
