I'm not good with audio so I just look for high peak powers and looks, but I don't understand the audio language so maybe some of these come with stuff I don't about and other don't so yeah help me out lol.
I don't know what they mean by Component speakers and Coaxial speakers, does that mean when they sell tweeters with a pair of speakers they're component? And when it's just speakers they're coaxial?
Anyway these are the ones I like and im looking at, please - no biased opinons just because you don't like that certain brand, just compare by the price, what comes with them and whatnot, thanks.

I can vouch for the DB 6500s, i have them and they sound great. I don't think a whole lot of people use them but they are a high quality product, and i've also heard lots of good things about the Alpine Type-R's. Another speak that seems to be highly popular is the CDT CL-61s.
http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_id=1090 woofersetc has them for a pretty good price, $140. Those are just a couple options, there are lots of good speakers out there, it's pretty much whatever you prefer, i'm sure you'll like any of these.
Well, Coaxial speakers means that the tweeter and woofer and combined, with the tweeter usually above and center of the mid woofer. This goes for 2 ways, 3 ways, 4 ways+.
Example is this 3 way infinity Kappa 6.5" speaker.
A component speaker is a mid woofer seperate from its tweeter brethren. Components usually sound better, louder, but are more expensive.
Example is this 2 way Infinity Kappa Component set up.
So components are better?
Generally speaking components are better. Also what LMR forgot to mention was that components come with crossovers, the little box in the lower right of the pic. This module controls what frequencies are played through the midwoofer and the tweeter. That basically means your tweeter isn't gonna try and play bass, and the midwoofer won't play the higher frequencies that the tweeter will. This is a BIG plus, since when speakers try to play sounds out of their frequency range, it sounds like ass. That's the scientific term I believe.
Also you might want to read the sticky's at the top of this forum. They're filled with wonderful info from the guys generally recognized as the "JBO Audio gurus". Some of these guys are sndsgood, Lanman, n8ball, wsywyg. I know I forgot a lot of people, but I don't troll the A&E forum that often. No offense to anyone not mentioned.

In a word, yes. I have components for my front speakers, coaxials in the rear deck. Proper aiming isn't much of a concern when the speakers are facing a sheet of glass anyway
I think it sounds great how I have it set up... but then again, they say you think anything is great until you've heard better.
i believe the saying that u are trying to get at that i whore up every chance possible is "bad will sound good until you hear better"
On the other hand....you have other fingers.
I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn
Is it better to put coaxials in the rear deck rather then component? Or is it irrelevent?
if for some reason you insist on keeping something in the rear deck after you have a nicely set up front stage with some components, i would just get some midbass 6x9s instead of full range speakers, the more you play full range sound in the rear, the more i t will drag your soundstage back.

So these Alpine type r 6x9's..
» 2-way 6"x9" speakers (pair)
» multi-layer pulp woofer cone with rubber surround
» 1" silk dome tweeter
» power range: 2-55 watts RMS
» frequency response: 30-30,000 Hz
» sensitivity: 89 dB
» peak power handling: 275 watts
» top-mount depth: 3"
....would be fine compared to these Polk audio 6x9's
» 3-way 6"x9" speakers (pair)
» lacquered carbon-fiber woofer with Santoprene rubber surround
» 1-1/4" silk/polymer dome tweeter and 3/4" silk supertweeter
» non-resonant aluminum basket
» suitable for marine use
» outboard 2-way crossover
» dual nickel-plated terminals for biamping
» recommended power range: 10-100 watts RMS
» peak power handling: 200 watts
» frequency response: 33-25,000 Hz
» sensitivity: 91 dB
» top mount depth: 3-1/4"
Also, would you suggest 2way or 3way for the rear?
I really am sorry for all these questions, i feel dumb.
As long as you're not going to be pushing too much power to the Alpines, they should be fine. 2 and 3 way just means how many seperate speakers are integrated into the one unit, it'd still play all the frequencies anyway, so I don't see why that'd matter (again, I may be wrong).
JLAudioCavalier, that was the saying I intended. Also, in regards to midbass speakers, wouldn't it be the same to get full range speakers and set the crossover on the amp on lowpass? Then you'd still have the option of making them full range if you wanted to just be loud, compared to a pure SQ setup.
a dedicated misbass is not going to play the same as a full range with a lowpass set low. theyre made specificaly for midbass, and will reproducte it much cleaner and better... honestly... i say spending more money on a good front stage and amp to push it to get loud, stay clean, and keep ur stage up front would be the way to spend ur money... ur subs are the only thing that should be playing music rear of your ears imo....
