I have this really odd problem with my driver side speaker. When I turn the car off and even remove my key from the ignition speaker will have a static sound playhing through it until I open the door.
Any ideas?
what did you use to install your h/u? like what wiring harness and stuff.... do you still have door chimes and everything? or the retained acc power to keep the radio on til the door's open? i don't know exactly what it is, but that might be helpful to other people that might know.
I used an apline harness to keep the chimes. I can pull the keys out of the ignition and it will keep the static till the door opens.
Sounds like maybe a grounding problem.............
