This may be a really stupid question, but does anyone know how to adjust the time on this thing? Ive looked in the owners manual and cant seem to find it. Maybe someone who has this unit can help me out. Thanks.
Oh sorry, maybe I should have been more specific. The AVIC-N1 unit is a Pioneer in-dash dvd unit with navigation. Just cant seem to find how to adjust the time on this thing. Thanks guys.
From Pioneer's website:
How do you set the clock on the Navigation units?
I just got this new car and your navigation was in it (AVIC-N2) and I can't set the clock. It just keeps displaying, "Please insert the appropriate disc." How do I set the clock?
If you do not have your navigation disc in the unit, you will not be able to set the clock. Please locate and insert your navigation disc. However, if the disc is in the unit, then press the Navi Menu button, touch the Settings tab, touch the Time button on the screen, and you will be able to adjust your clock plus or minus 3 hours, and or turn daylight savings time on/off.
With navigation, you do not actually set the clock, the satellite signal sets it.
Hope that helps!
Sam

Hey man. How do you like that system. We installed the upgraded Z1 model in our Solstice, but it was pricey as hell. I am looking for one to install on our Cavalier and was wanting some input from someone who actually owns and uses it.
I will be sure to let you know soon. So far I am enjoying the unit, but as of today, I am currently having seperate electical interior issues that Im kind of trying to figure out, so as soon as I figure out the cause of it ill let you know. If you guys can help me out with this issue id appreciate it a great deal. Just go to the maintenance forum and click on "Interior Illumination Problem.." Thanks for your help guys, and ill be sure to get back to you soon. So far, tho I am enjoying the unit very much.

Why did you need it repaired? What happened to it?
