yes, i searched and read the sticky..but my question wasn't answered. So, if i were to use 4x6 to 6.5 adapters, would the speaker still be behind the stock speaker grill, or is there some cutting that'll be involved?
no they would still sit behind the door grill, i did it in my 99 sunfire

a lot of people say the adapters rattle cuz they're just cheap plastic. make them out of wood....
