Amp Internals

So.... I busted out an old amp I had sitting in my closet to take a look at it. In 2004, some humidity got to the amp, and it blew a fuse. It hasn't worked since... I took some pics of the inside and I know nothing about circuit boards. I doubt this looks normal, but is the amp toast? Maybe I can take some electronics wash spray and clean it out?

Take a look....

It's a Profile California series, 440sx. I know it's a cheap amp, but If I can save it I'll use it... if not I'll just buy another 4 channel amp.

There's way too much stuff to replace, and there might be circuitry inside the board as well. Pour a 40 oz for it and bury it in the back yard.

ahh.. so sad, so sad.... the moral of the story here is:

Don't leave your windows cracked when you live in a humid state, such as Texas.

looks like just a coupla filter caps leaked, and some resistors toasted. the caps are probably about 50 cents a piece. no SMT stuff either, so I doubt it's a multi-layer CCA. the price would be paying someone to fix that.
kerosene and a match... but don't get too close. the chemicals used in etching the board are highly toxic when burned.

Shouldn't be too bad to swap the parts if he can get a hold of someone who can solder/desolder that's willing to work for, say, beer

double edit, yes I know... this thread reminds me I need to take apart my amp and find out what decided to smoke... I may do that this weekend since this thread is all about resurrecting amps
