i am trying to find a good 0/1 awg wire holder for my top mount optima red top. i want it to be digital so it will read the voltage out on top of it, also would like the color of the reading to be blue.
i found one i do like, its made by stinger, but its got 2 outputs, i only need one. i have no idea wtf would need 2 0/1 awg outputs but my god, its gotta draw some MAJOR juice. i only have the one wire and it powers 3 frickn amps MORE than plenty.
any body have any ideas for me?
thanks
tsunami makes one too!
1st 1st gen on air.....
yeah that darvex site took me right to the stinger one i have been lookin at. dont get me wrong, its a nice piece, but idk if i want so many outputs. but...even so, stinger makes awesome products, so i'll pry end up going with it.
Why does one need to look at the voltage of the battery under the hood? Wouldn't it be better to see it inside the car?

yes, your right... i am also planning on having a voltage guage in the car as well.
but, i want one at the start of the power wire...one in the middle (guage) and some in the back (3 digital capascitors)
i just like to keep an eye on things thats all. also, i think itl look neat in the dark lol.
your running 0/1 why? And why caps? They are basically useless in most ca applications

wire because i need it. and caps because i need them. im part of the half of consumers who believe they work.
oh and dont worry, i have an optima yellow-top battery in the trunk as well as a red-top up front. as well as a stock rebuilt 160amp alternator and the big 3 upgrade. i am fine.
go with the stinger. 86 the coltage meter on it. why are you going with 2 diff optimas? you should really stick with the same kind to avoid any future problems. you should always have matching batts. no matter if they are high $$$ or walmart brand. your only running 0/gauge to the batts right?
lawl you dont need 0/1. How many watts are you running? I know of a guy running 18kw and hes running 1/0. 0/1 is overkill and your probably just using welding wire which is a bitch. And half of consumers thing caps work? Um about 1/10th of car audio hobbiests think caps work. That should say something shouldnt it?
