For Christmas, my girlfriend got me a remote starter kit from walmart. i like it, but im afraid to install it because there's a good chance that i could mess up my car if i install it wrong. so im hoping to get a professional to install it for me. does anyone know how much it would prolly cost to get the kit installed?

thanks!

Just got a quote to get mine done and it was around 400 dollars. I actually just bought a autostart from Visions with 2 way paging . I got the bulldog one from walmart for my b-day a year ago and I didn't like it as much as the one I just bought so I had it returned.

your gonna be looking at around 3 hours labour plus a bypass module so the car will run without the key. so probably around $2-300 CDN depending on shop rates and how much tehy charge you for the bypass module. our shop charges $349 for a basic remote start/keyless (plus any modules) and you get a lifetime warranty on a reliable product and install...

If it's a bulldog, I'd take it back right now. They're junk.

4 + years on the cheapest model walmart sold, bulldogs brand. its 90 percent install, 10 percent hardware, no issues ever unless the batt dies in the car. has a better range then my buddy's 2 way 500+ system

Its not how fast your car goes....its how much nerve the driver has to push it that fast.

Acutally it's 50 percent equipment and 50 percent install. Bunk equipment with a great install is still bunk equipment.

honestly i think u should return the bunk equipment, and get a DEI product installed.
good equipment and get background on the shop before you get it installed..

ne one thats sells DEI products should have lifetime warrenty on the unit and also the install..

if they dont becareful.

goodluck
